SUPPLY OF SOYBEAN SEEDS

The Millennium Villages Project (MVP), implemented by UNDP, aims to apply a holistic approach to development based on community participation and leadership so rural communities can lift themselves out of poverty and meet the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The project will among others support the production and marketing of Soybean to improve soil health, human nutrition and incomes of rural households. Quotations are invited from reputable vendors including farmer organizations for the supply of the following soybean seeds as one lot.

Request for quotation (RFQ) for SOYBEAN SEEDS:

1.                   Variety:                MAKSOY 2N, Quantity: 10  tonnes

2.                   Variety:                MAKSOY 1N, Quantity: 10  tonnes

3.                   Variety:                NAMSOY 4M, Quantity: 10  tonnes

Seeds quality:      Seeds should have a germination of at least 80%, and purity of at least 95%, which is independently verified

Packaging:           Seeds should be packed in 10 kg bags

Delivery:              Quotation should include cost of delivery of the seeds to RUHIIRA TRADING   CENTRE, Isingiro District, South-West Uganda.
